Manage Excessive Body Hair

Do most women like excessive body hair? When asked this question most will certainly answer with a ‘no’, so how do you deal with this? There are different ways that you can manage excessive body hair, such as trimming with an electronic device or laser-hair removal, but probably the most popular method among men currently is waxing, however, you need to make sure you get it right! If you have any doubts our resident expert, Amanda Kingsland, would be more than happy to advise.

Get Your Hair Cut Regularly

We’ll let you in to a little secret that all well groomed men know…. Never let your hair  look like you’ve just had it cut. That means going in for regular cuts to maintain your style. A lot of men will let their hair grow for many weeks before they get it cut, but regular cuts are the key!

Don’t Forget to Trim your Ear & Nose Hair

Are you one of those that thinks ear & nose hair is something only the older fellas need to worry about? Not true! If you are over 30 years old you must pay attention to what is happening with your ear & nose hair, but we know that many of you will tend to ignore it because you think you are too young – well don’t – make sure you check regularly and trim as appropriate.

Beard, Moustache or Nothing?

With beards making a big comeback it’s very important for you to consider if it’s right for you? All men have the power to transform their face using facial hair. Facial hair can add definition or ruggedness depending on the style, but the choice is totally dependant on the shape and many other factors of your facial hair make up. So consult one of our stylists if your are unsure.

Should You Use ‘Products’?

The answer is… If you really want to look after yourself, yes! There has been a shift in male grooming culture during the last decade. Men’s toiletries used to consist of shampoo, deodorant, shaving cream and not much else. But now moisturizers, facial cleansers, eye serums, anti-agers & even mud masks are all available and specifically designed just for men. Based on current trends this type of male grooming is only set to keep growing.

But if you are feeling shy and want to discuss your options further, don’t be! Any one of our stylists or beauty therapists would be happy to advise you if you feel you might need help…. Please contact us.
