A Salon Called Fish have struck up a new sponsorship deal with the Plymouth Raiders Development team, which will see the 2016 / 2017 team kit carry the salons logo, helping to raise awareness of this amazing youth project right here on our doorstep.
Rob Medcalf, Director at A Salon Called Fish, said “It is very important to us at A Salon Called Fish to support local businesses and community and that is why we are delighted to announce that we are now sponsoring the Plymouth Raiders Development. At A Salon Called Fish we are very proud to support our local youth development team and wish all the teams the very best for their future progression!”
Paul Nicholson, Head of Development, said “On behalf of myself and the club we are absolutely delighted to have a salon called fish as a sponsor. Being a registered charity opportunities like this make a huge difference to us as a club and can really impact the teams in a positive way.”
The sponsorship means that each team in the Plymouth Raiders Development can now have their own kit.
Paul went on to add, “Every team will have these tops and will wear them for home and away games where we travel all across the southwest of England, we now look professional on and off the court which means a great deal to us as a club. When we opened these up and showed the children there was a real buzz around the place and they are very thankful to the salon in what they have done.”
“Hopefully with the sponsorship we can help raise awareness for both the development teams & for the salon over the course of the season and repay the investment, I certainly know that some of players could do with a haircut that’s for sure!”
Finally Paul, added, “It’s difficult to express how much things like this mean to us so once again on behalf of everyone involved thank you.”
